Scallywags Pre-School Edgworth Admissions Policy

When allocating places for the September intake, if Scallywags is over subscribed the following criteria will apply in this prioritised order:

Childrens’ existing places will not be affected.

Pre-school year children whose primary residence is in Edgworth, Chapeltown, Crowthorne or Entwistle. These children will be offered 5 sessions wherever possible (ie their full pre- school entitlement).

2 year olds who live in Edgworth, Chapeltown, Crowthorne or Entwistle and who have a sibling attending Scallywags. 2 year olds who live in Edgworth, Chapeltown or Crowthorne or Entwistle.

Pre-school year children whose primary residence is outside Edgworth, Chapeltown and Crowthorne or Entwistle. 2 year olds children whose primary residence is outside Edgworth, Chapeltown and Crowthorne or Entwistle. Unsuccessful applicants will be kept on a waiting list and will be contacted should a place arise. Applicants will be notified of their place by the 1st May.
