Our Toy Story Theme has been a great success this week, thank you Carol for all your great ideas, we will be continuing to extend this theme next week.

Carpark

We have noticed the carpark is still being used for pick up and drop off, please can I remind everyone not to use School carpark at any time.

Next Tuesday 1st October is School open day 9.15am-11.30am – 1.15pm-3.15pm. Come and explore our vibrant Village School

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning in the School hall (see above times) – come and enjoy a cake and a cuppa while raising money for a great cause.

Speaking and Communication

Ideas for the weekend to practise at home:-

·      Picture books – Point to and name things using one word – encourage your child to take the lead by pointing to pictures and name the word – What can you see in the picture?

·      Picture Dominoes – name each picture as you or your child add to the domino game – matching game.

 

Nursery Photos

Thursday 17th October 9.00am– All welcome even if this is not your child’s day – also siblings are welcome (these make great gifts for Christmas.

Christmas Performance

This is a fantastic event which takes place in the Methodist Church next to Scallywags – Monday 9th December – 1.30pm

Christmas Party

Monday 16th December – 1.30-3.00 pm (everyone welcome even if this is not your child’s day (Adults must stay) Santa will come and visit
